Hello, it's more pigmentation of skin at foot of shaft - you can see from photo
No itching or pain.... just worried as it's been there a couple of weeks

This looks like a condition known as Lentiginosis of Penis . This is a condition in which pigmented areas may appear on the body and shaft of the penis. The cause is not known.

There is usually no other symptom - no itching, pain, ulceration etc.

The condition may fade spontaneously over time. It may also remain as it is without causing any problem.

Lentiginosis needs to be differentiated from a melanoma with a skin biopsy , so you will need to consult a dermatologist about it.

There is no specific treatment.

I hope this helps.

Ok thanks - should i see my GP or go straight to a dermatologist?

The GP should be able to give you a diagnosis. If not, he/she will refer you to a dermatologist.

I hope this helps.
