Waitongu2 :

Hello

Customer:

Hello. What does errorr 174 and 155 mean

Customer:

What should I do next?

Waitongu2 :

Hi

Waitongu2 :

Sorry for the delay. What is the exact model of this printer?

Customer:

OKI C5750

Waitongu2 :

Your printer display or status monitor may read "Fatal Error". This simply means a problem has occurred requiring action to clear.
A "Fatal Error" does not mean your printer will "die". Fatal Error explanations are not usually found in the User's Guide or Handy Reference Guide.

RECOMMENDED NEXT STEP: First, try turning off your printer then turning it back on. If this does not clear the message or remedy the problem, check to see if your printer is on a power strip (or not plugged directly into the wall). For testing purposes, be sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall. Often, the issue is power-related.
Waitongu2 :

It is something to do with the sensors.

Customer:

I have turned it on and off 4 times, on the last occasion the error changed from 155 to 174

Waitongu2 :

Error 174 means that the toner is either not sitting properly or needs attention

Waitongu2 :

Let's remove the toner And reseat it.

Waitongu2 :

Also unplug it then re plug it to power.

Customer:

I have removed and replaced all the toners twice and the fuser unit. It still says 174 error

Waitongu2 :

It might be the toner sensor.

Customer:

If that is the case what do I do? Where can I find an engineer to come and fix it?

Waitongu2 :

If you give me a city or postal code i can try find you a service technician
