Customer Question

I have Myelodysplasia. I have been told that I am going in for Chemo next week. Apparently I will be in hospital for a month and it is not pleasant. This procedure will be done a few times before a transplant. Why not go directly for a transplant??? How long will this procedure protect me before I need it done again ?? (I know that is two questions :-) )
