Customer Question

UK NHS reckons there is no 'evidence' that proton beam therapy is more effective than conventional radiotherapy for certain cancers based on lack of long term (5year+) clinical trials. PBT theory seems compelling. Only case I've found where side effects were worse was pre real time image guided
Do you agree that these clinical trails cause suffering (Marsden have just started a clinical trial on a Cyberknife - 10 years on !)

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

clinical trails don't cause suffering. I am not sure what you mean by suffering?

Dr. David :

are you having a cancer and are considering radiation treatments?

Dr. David :

I am a radiation oncology expert doctor and have experience with stereotactic radiosurgery techniques like cyberknife and proton therapy and conventional IMRT radiation therapy.

Dr. David :

do you feel you don't have access to proton therapy and cyberknife radiation?
