This is Dr. David
wow, that is a long sales email.
all of the agents in those supplements are not proven to fight cancer
and have not shown to improve survival or slow cancer growth.
sorry some of it has not come through did you want the rest?
I am sorry about your father's bowel cancer.
that is ok, you don't have to upload the rest, I got the overall theme of the email.
your father might benefit from genetic testing of his colon cancer to check for KRAS mutation and EGFR mutation in his cancer
which could help his cancer doctors pick out chemotherapy for him.
he might benefit from targeted therapy into his liver metastasis like radiofrequency ablation of liver metastasis
or steriotactic radiosurgery ablation of his liver mets.
or chemo-embolization of his liver mets.
or Yyittrium 90 therasphere therapy into his liver.
so he does have some options for more focal therapy for his liver mets.
have him talk to his doctors about these options.
they are just resting him at the moment so are due to scan again in April. Can we ask them in the meantime to consider the options you have typed above? Are they treatments available in the UK? He has about 6 tumours in his liver.
so the tablets are just a scam? I know its hard for you to answer but what are you feelings on Cannabis Oil also?
some if not all of those treatments are available in the UK. maybe not therasphere therapy.
he might have to travel to larger cancer hospitals like Royal Marsden in London to get more options.
tablets are alternative therapy.
some doctors and cancer centers use them in conjunction with conventional therapy.
cannabis oil might be good to help decrease nausea and help improve appetite.
how do we go about getting a second opinion from somewhere like the Royal Marsden?
which could be good.
ask your GP to get a second opinion there and refer him there for evaluation
he might need it down the line if his liver metastasis start to grow.
best of luck to you and him.

Ok. My father is worried that he will upset the oncologist he is currently under does it have any negative affect on his treatment if he asks for a second opinion?
no, there should not be any negative effects if he ask for a second opinion
or ask for other options to treat the liver lesions
Is there still hope with the treatments you have suggested even if he has lots of tumours?
there is potential hope to slow the growth of his tumors and to possibly shrink them.
but hope for long term cure and complete eradication of his colon cancer out of his body forever is not realistic.
ok thank you.
you are welcome
