which increases risks for cancers of the pituitary gland, the parathyroid gland, and the pancreas
MEN2 increases risks for cancer in endocrine organs such as thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenals
that will be important to know
if he has a gene which increases his risk for thyroid cancer, his thyroid gland can be removed with surgery now.
and he can take thyroid hormone supplements
and this will remove his risks for future thyroid cancer.
