This is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.
I am sorry you are in pain.
where is your worst pain?
you may benefit form a bone scan to see where you are having active breast cancer in your bones
what dose of morphine are you using?
you may need higher doses or morphine
or longer active pain medications such as fentanyl patches or MS Contin which is a longer acting form of morphine
hydromorphone and oxymorphone are stronger opiates which can help decrease pain.
you may benefit from zometa or xgeva to help strengthen your bones and help fight breast cancer as well
these are IV infusions which are once a month. are you getting these?
