My baby is 18 months old and recently I have seen white specks on his front tooth, what could this be

It is quite common to see this in the first teeth as they erupt before all the enamel is formed so will have almost a translucent appearance with white spots being those parts of the tooth that have hardened, so to speak.

I would not worry at all about this as it is not due to anything you gave him to eat and the medications we use now don't stain the teeth (such as tetracycline, which we don't use in children anymore).
