Customer Question

My 1 year old has been ill for over a week now. Started with a cough and runny nose and then started vomiting with loose stools since last Wednesday (8days ago) He has been off his food and very lethargic. He does have periods where he seems to improve and has started eating little amounts however is still having random large and projectile vomiting episodes once a day. I saw a doctor on Monday who said it was a viral infection, is it still normal for him to be still recovering and having the sickness still ?

Hi, most viral attacks are over in a week's time so you should get him admitted to a pediatric ward for management after thorough assessment. He could be having a surgical issue also. Especially so if any of the vomit is green or yellow colored.

Good luck to him.
