Customer Question

My 5 weeks baby is suffering with horrible colics. It usually starts between 8 pm and 11pm. She become so upset she turns red and last night Julia became breathless. We were using infacol for several weeks but we had to stop at some point. She gets her tummy massaged clockwise on daily basis as well as knees brought up to her tummy. She s very windy. She was originally on formula from Aldi as health visitor said this milk is fine. I have no milk on my breasts that is why we had to put wee one on formula. We swapped milk into hipp first infant however it makes no difference. We make sure she burps after each feed. How to help her ?

Hi, Sorry about this symptom but it is all so common one and many normal healthy babies, thriving and putting on weight too suffer from this evening colic till age of 12 weeks so please bear with her, trying to comfort on shoulder or keeping prone on tummy under observation. No drops are likely to help. If too much distress before bed, may try 10 drops of Benadryl plain syrup couple of days and see.

Good luck.
