Hello, my name is Mark and I will try help you with this.
Can you tell me the year and engine size.
What sensor you had fitted?
Does the immobiliser light go out when you switch ignition on?
1.1crank sensor what immoboliser light?
there is a red stop light flashing
Why did you fit a new ecu?
a garage said it points to that after changing crank sensor
a new fuel relay switch has been fitted as there is no fuel pressure but no diff
When did the fault first occur?
it first cut out 1 yr ago aa towed it back and it started and seemed ok it next cut out 3weeks ago twice2 weeks ago last week cut out and wont start
it only seemed to cut out when slowing down ie to turn or traffic lights
When it cut out a year ago did you find any fault with it?
aa tried it started and cut out then started again and said well take you back and u can sort it from there but tha prob didn't occur again till now
Do you have access to a scan tool?
I think you are going to need one.
You need to check the BSI unit
It will lock the engine ecu if the immobiliser is faulty.
It's basically a fuse/relay box with a built in computer.
It is also the immobiliser control unit.
the same prob has occurred with 2 diff keys
The immobiliser could be the fault.
Keys not being recognised and so engine ecu remains locked.
does it av to go 2 a main dealer?
