Hi..

Hopefully i can help..

Going by your description i asume your replacing the flexi brake line - For brake hoses/flexi lines on these you have to buy the complete hose assembly..these hoses will already have the unions crimped to them..you need a special device to crimp ends on the hoses and has to be done properly..very rarely will a garage carry that out..thats why they sell brake flexi hoses ready for fitting..simple case of undoing the solid brake lines unions from both ends of the hose/ or one from the caliper and quickly refit the new flexi line back in place "to ensure minimun brake fluid loss" ensuring both ends or solid brake line unions are tight..a proper flare nut spanner set would be ideal to do a job like this..unclip the hose from the car and then refit in reversal of removal..of course bleeding both brakes on the back will be required..before both wheels are refitted...I do hope this helps..if you need to ask anything else or include anything further then just continue before you rate
