Replacing the radio would be last resort - its sound very much like a power interuption/loss of power or a fault on the battery the main battery i mean..it can be known for the main battery to cause fault like this and the clock not keeping time as a result..especially so if the battery is fairly old normally over 5 years old can it sometimes cause problems like to occur..so a check of the batteries state,condition/load testing would be something to have done id say - not forgetting however to check the terminals on the battery for corrosion are tight aswell as the earth points to body are clean/free of corrosion.check your battery voltage. It should normally be at least 12.2v when stood, and 14.5v when engine running...so as above that would something to have done first before hauling that clock/radio out to check or replace even..I do hope this helps
