Ask a Phone Systems Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the phones, this issue can indicate a hardware defect (2 of the handsets are faulty) or a simple memory glitch in the base, causing the registration data to be lost.
one thing you may attempt yourself is to fully reset the system: 1) unplug both power and phone lines from the main base. 2) remove batteries from all handsets 3) wait at least 15 minutes, then restore all 4) place a handset on the main base for a minute, as if to charge 5) check for functionality.
If that doesn't help, you can manually re-register the 2 handsets,
1. Press the MENU button then up/down until REGISTRATION is displayed, then press the ok/enter (checkmark) button.2. Pin? is displayed. Enter the base PIN (default setting=0000) and press checkmark button3. The handset will display Searching, press and hold the FIND button on the base until you hear a long beep and the green In use light begins to flash.4. The handset will temporarily display REGISTERED then will display HANDSET, indicating registration has completed.
If none of this helps, then it would indicate the handset(s) have an internal hardware defect (most likely a bad radio transceiver or control board). The handsets cannot be repaired however, and if 2 of them are bad, the cost to replace them would not be worth it. you could buy a brand new system/bundle with a new base and 3+ handsets for the same price or less. If needed, I'll be happy to recommend some replacement models for you.
