Hello & Welcome,

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier.

May I ask if you have SUCCESSFULLY recorded your own greeting?

May I also ask if you have a different phone (such as a mobile phone or neighbor's phone) you can use to TEST - by calling your own number to see what happens when someone calls?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Tried with my mobile, left message no recording on base or handset.

Not using my greetings only the built-in one

Hi again, OK - can you tell me the number of RINGS (or approximate ring time) you heard - before being able to leave a message? Also, can you CHANGE the"ring delay" on the Gigaset to the LOWEST setting (10 seconds) and try again - with the TEST CALL?Thanks

Hi Gregg

Appears to be o.k.

Thanks very much, will try again tomorrow to confirm, again thanks.

Hi again, You are quite welcome. If setting the ring delay to a LOW value made it work, then you MAY have some "other system" (such as a "voice mail" system - for your provider) taking the calls after a larger number of rings. To TEST for this, simply turn OFF the answering machine feature and place a NEW TEST CALL - to see if that "other system" picks up the call. Please let me know what you find or if you have any more questions.Best Regards, ***** *****
