Our very reliable Gigaset AS28H has suddenly developed a burr on the line which is no longer active as callers are finding that the line is engaged.

Can you remove the batteries from the phone and disconnect power to the base and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Then put the batteries back in, power on the base and tell me if you still have the problem please.
