My bath & wash basin are very slow to drain, if I plunge the wash basin the air pushes into the water in the bath & the bath will drain. If I disconnect I the waste pipe from the basin the bath drains. Can anybody help with what might be causing the problem?

Plumbers_Mate : It sounds like the two wastes connect together and then flow away, but it sounds like there a partial blockage after this point.
Plumbers_Mate : are you able to get to it and strip it down?
