If it was low pressure it would turn off.
Do you have the make and model?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Does the shower turn off at all or just go cold.
Does it make a difference if you turn the temperature down, does it stay on longer?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

the shower just goes cold, it does not turn off. if you are having a shower and someone flushes the toilet, the shower goes cold. is this a water pressure problem?

Your shower has a built in low pressure switch that turn off the heating element when the pressure is too low.
