Biasi 24s combi boiler stops intermitently

Is it affecting the hot water and heating?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It is only affecting the central heating. Boiler starts, ignites and runs for 5 minutes and then cuts out for 15 minutes or so and then starts again with the same cycle as mentioned above. The pump is bit hot while touching it.

NO need to reset in between. It keeps on doing the same thing.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

How far is the heat travelling from the boiler? Are the flow return pipes both hot?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

yes but return is not hot as the out going. pressure goes up when the heating is on and goes down while pump is off. I have to increase the system pressure almost everyday but there is no sign of any radiator or pipe leakage.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The return pipe is hot but not that much as the out going pipe.

All the radiators get hot. but the system pressure drops by 0.5 bar and goes up when the temp goes up.

I have to increase the system pressure once in a day. There is no radiator leaking as well.

Thanks.

Is the PRV discharging outside?
Can you check the pipe outside below the boiler flue to see if it drips when heating?
