my baxi bermuda is not firing up properly,,it fires up for

my baxi bermuda is not firing up properly,,it fires up for about 2 minutes then peeters out,,2 mins later fires up again,,does this for some time , no heat to rads at all,,but plenty hot water,engineer just done service,,he recons the pump is suspect but pump is under wooden floor and floor boards with no immediate access,,,,help please

Ok, sounds like you have gravity hot water and pumped central heating.
This means that the boiler ONLY comes on to heat the water, whereas the boiler AND the pump come on for the heating.
This would mean that there is a problem with the pump or the electrical feed to it - which is easiest to get to?
