Boiler been serviced.. today had rads pressure flushed... taken

Customer Question

Boiler been serviced.. today had rads pressure flushed... taken all day... radiators less hot than before... we now have only one radiator working.. heating engineers think there is a blockage at the end of the system in the return..suggests floor up, locate and clear blockage... sounds expensive and not guaranteed to work.. what would you advise please...

Andrew Smith :

This would only matter if you had a one pipe system

Andrew Smith :

On a standard system if there was a blockage then it would circulate through the other radiators instead

Andrew Smith :

Depending on the model of the boiler there may be a filter on the flow or return valves at the boiler - did they check after flushing if they are there and if they are clean?
