replaced boiler in aga , full of limescale. replaced pipes

replaced boiler in aga , full of limescale. replaced pipes cylinder like for like and an expansion tank this time as non was fitted before,the system was banging violently before.
now the banging is back 3 months after the work was done . i can hear the hot water run of into the expansion tank , then the violent banging starts once the water has ran into tank
not much air in the system at all
any helpwould be great

Plumberpro : hi . Lime scale indicates fresh water being heated above 65degrees. There should be a thermostat regulating the temperature.
Customer:

hi, yes we put the aga back to 3 on the thermostat but is still playing up we did fit a limescale inhibitor when doing the job , but like most things there was a piece of pipe we left in because of access i bet its the culprit , i guess its 3feet thick wall meets kango time.
