Hi there, I have a Siemens DG15025 water heater / hot water

Resolved Question:

Hi there,
I have a Siemens DG15025 water heater / hot water tank. We are going away for 3 weeks and I would like to switch it off. I have opened the hot water so that it runs cold, closed the shut off valve on the intake and opened the hot water in the bathroom and kitchen so that no more water comes out the hot tap.
What is the next step after this. Should i switch the boiler off at the fuse box as well?
Many thanks for your advice in advance!

Plumberpro :

Hi . you don't have to switch off at the fuse box aslong as the power to the boiler is off . but if the heating hot water is on its own fuse then it would be ok to turn off at the fuse box. If it was me going for 3 weeks I would turn off at fuse box

Customer:

Many thanks plumber pro, great weight off my mind.
