Water drips from the outside overflow pipe on the first floor

Resolved Question:

Water drips from the outside overflow pipe on the first floor when the boiler (Baxi Solo 3 pfl) comes on. I have also noticed that the water pressure gauge at the front of the boiler barely reaches 1 when the boiler is on. Are the two connected?

Hi, is it coming from a plastic pipe or copper pipe. If it is from the loft , can you get up there to check if a tank is overflowing?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

It is a black plastic pipe 2-3 cms diameter at the level of the first floor landing but on the outside wall. There is no water tank in the loft - it's a sealed system providing hot water to a tank on the first floor landing and to radiators.
