Hi , do you have the model of your boiler? Please
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Its 24s

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
Hi , can you try turning the power off completely for 3 mins , then back on
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

ok, I did already try that but maybe not for as long as 3 mins so here goes....

Hi , can you tell me what pressure the boiler is at ?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

it had fallen a bit low but I topped it back up so now it is on 2 bar

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
OK , did the boiler go all of a sudden or has there been an intermittent fault?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

no fault, it was working this am heating & HW but tonight just not igniting when put tap on or when turn heating on

Hi , do you have any led lights, lighting up?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

no lights

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
Its sounds like a fuse has blown . do you have a fused spur or a plug?
If either , could you replace the fuse?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I think fuse spur

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
OK , could you replace the fuse , with a 3 or 5 amp one?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

just trying to find one!

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
OK , lamps are sometimes a good bet
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

tried it but not working. I have a feeling this happened before & it was something to do with the red reset button but now it is not sticking out so I cant press it in?

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
Does the rest button feel stuck? You may have to open the front cover to see what has happened to it. You should have some led lights , especially a power light
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I have the front cover open, took the black cap off & the little red button does not press in? the light to the Left of it is not lit (lock out signal lamp)

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
OK , the reader button pushes a button in on the PCB . there should also be a PCB boiler fuse as well. With the power off can you access the PCB and locate where that reset pushes in on the board. Try and push it in without the button . if it doesn't you may need a new pcb
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

ok we are unscrewing the big metal cover to try & get to it

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
Ok,but the bottom section might slide out by itself , once a couple of screws are removed
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

ok got small panel off at bottom - lots wires...not really near the reset button tho...?

Expert:  Plumberpro replied 2 years ago.
You may have to take out the PCB to get to it. Not easy as lots of connectors.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

ok think this is bit beyond my capabilities - will have to get plumber in to look at it tomorrow
