I have a problem with hot water coming out of my cold pipes.

Customer Question

I have a problem with hot water coming out of my cold pipes. I do not have a combi boiler and have not had any works on plumbing before this started to happen.
Can you help?

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I have been in the plumbing and plumbing repair field for 20 years. I will be glad to help you today. Either your circulation pump is no longer pumping or your no return valve is stuck open. If the circulation pump seems to be pumping and is not overly hot to the touch then it is the no return valve.
