Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.
.OK , thanks .can you turn off the power to the boiler at the plug/ fused switch, please?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Done
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.
OK , thanks then back on after few mins
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Back on. Green light flashing intermittently. Flame light with a line though it on. Red reset button to its left. Haven't pressed.
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.
OK , press the reset , please and listen the sounds from the boiler
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.

If the boiler resets then put on the heating , and see if the boiler attempts to ru n , can you hear the fan start , does the boiler try to ignite , is sparking ? Sorry but have early start . we can continue early morning , if you like

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Same behaviour as with water.
I can hear the fan, see the ignition but seems that the gas won't come through.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes. Speak tomorrow?
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.

If you can see the ignition, then your issue will be either the flame recognition probe , or ( typical on these boilers ) the temperature thermistor , both reasonably cheap parts.

The thermistors can be checked with a multimeter on ohmsc.

Do you know anyone in Leytonstone, East London area that could fix?
Expert:  Plumberpro replied 1 year ago.
Hi , I'm the other side unfortunately. The only thing I would say is get a recommendation from friends , neighbour, family , for a trusted boiler , heating engineer, gas safe registered
