I have a Biasi boiler (about 2.5 years old) which keeps locking

Resolved Question:

I have a Biasi boiler (about 2.5 years old) which keeps locking out when I put the heating on. I've had a plumber out to take a look but, despite being very experienced, he cannot figure out what is causing the problem, and doesn't want to keep replacing parts just to check it out as this will work out very expensive

Hi, i would change the temperature thermistor for the heating as these are a common fault on these . When these go wrong they can allow the boiler to get too hot and cut out on the over heat stat

Hi - thanks very much for getting back to me. I've just tried to source the part from the manufacturers and seems to be called different things - the nearest I can find for the particular model I have seems to be called an 'Overheat Thermostat' - does that sound right?

Hi, no thats something else. It should be listed as a thermistor/ thermister

Hi - I've searched through the entire list of spare parts for the boiler on the Biasi spare parts website and can't find it. Just done a google search and found this on Ebay - Biasi Compatible Domestic Hot Water NTC Temperature Sensor Thermister - does that sound about right?
