I am having a bathroom installed and the retailer is saying

Customer Question

Hi, I am having a bathroom installed and the retailer is saying they cannot run hot, cold and waste water underfloor as building regulations don't let them drill holes etc in wooden floor joists, is this true. All advice is greatly received

Hi, the advice is wrong. Building regs do allow for pipework underfloor.I would get other quotes. You can notch sixth of the joist, one sixth if drilling through the middle.
