Honeywell Room Thermostat DT90E showing 'failed' I have changed batteries but unable to restore the display-can you help please?
Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: About a week
Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If it requires wiring etc no
Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Because of the weather the boiler has not been used for heating for some weeks-it is used daily for hot water
Assistant: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: about a week and it means we cannot control the heatin-it is either on or off

Im sorry to hear this.
If the unit is under a year old contact honeywell for a new one
Otherwise apart from trying to reset it by removing the battery and turning the power off there is not a lot you can do with them
just change it for a new one.
