Hello Brenda! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed printer / computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. Is this the Canon MP270 printer model?

Is this a new printer or was it working previously?

Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, or mac computer?

Have you tried to install the printer cd disk yet?

Please let me know. Thank you,
