Already Tried:
I place the document on the scanner glass.I open the scanner on my computer. I choose "scan" on the scanner, choosing the icon "to PC Local (USB) and Doc.type automatic. The scan shows on the computer as it is scanning but I can't find the scan at the destination, with Desktop or Documents.

there's no "more" text box. I just told you that there are more texts. They are Size, Rotation angle, Auto selection, Scan to, name, format,and Image Correction

I turned everything off and left it off for a few minutes and now it's all on and I get a big error message now when I try to scan

I do it with Image Capture. The box comes up. I choose the scanner under "Shared"

The Error did not come up this time. The image scans into the box but not onto the desktop. On the right hand side of the box at the bottom, are 3 buttons. One is Hide Details, the next is Overview and the third is Scan. I click the Scan one to scan. Is that right?

Yes. Change Scan to option to desktop. Change name od the folder to scan 1

I still see the preview but no scan. My previous scanner was an Epson and when I did a scan I would OK the preview and then scan to desktop.

Shefin, you know I can't rate you. I still cannot scan. I had to travel 24 minutes one way today to deliver the document that I was trying to scan, by hand. I am too tired now. It's been a long day. I'll come back to you tomorrow and we can sort this thing out. In the meanwhile I hope that you're looking in to some possibilities that we haven't tried yet.
