My HP Deskjet 640C printer continues to print the same

Customer Question

My HP Deskjet 640C printer continues to print the same stuff every time I turn it on, and will not print any new documents. I only asked for one copy of the document that it continues to print time after time. I have tried to get rid of the document that it will not stop printing, but without success. Henry XXXXXXX. Hi Henry.

Did the restart stop the printer from printing the page continually?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have been able to print some other things, but when they are finished it goes back to printing the original thing that won't go away. I have decided not to use the printer at all for several days in the hope that it may clear itself in the meantime.

With thanks - Henry Ormerod.

Hi Henry

You may possibly need to leave the printer for a few days, unplugged from the power, so the memory can be cleared.

Do this, then test it and let me know please if it is still giving you problems.

If you have continued problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
