Pixma MG3250 It prints and scans ok but the colours are dark

Resolved Question:

Pixma MG3250 It prints and scans ok but the colours are dark and no manipulation with contrast and brightness makes much difference.


I have new Pixma inks inserted

Please let me know the operating system (E.g. Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.7 or click here to know the operating system) and connection type (USB or wireless), so that I can assist you better.

Also, try copying like Xerox without using the computer and check if you are experiencing the same issue.

Operating system is Ubuntu (the latest version). Connection by USB. Have checked and Pixma scans and prints well. Only printing from computer has poor colours, Have tried downloading Linux installation from Canon website but cannot open the files.

It seems like a driver issue. I would suggest you go to the link below, download and install the three drivers. Please try one first, and if the issue persists, try the other one.
