My Canon Ipf6100 printer has stopped working....Close upper

Resolved Question:

My Canon Ipf6100 printer has stopped working....'Close upper cover' message.....offers no other options.

I've replaced with an ipf5000, but has no install disc.
Windows vista 32bit recognises, but prompts for install disc.

You will have to call Cannon to get them to send you a Driver Disk, Oh and it should be free of charge since the installer is faulty.
