Samsung CLP-365W printer machine starts then stops and red

Resolved Question:

Samsung CLP-365W printer machine starts then stops and red fault light illuminates.
All toner cartridges are fine and I have emptied the toner waste unit.

Can you remove the power from the printer and wait 10 minutes.

This will allow the printer to clear the internal cache.

Then connect the power and tell me if you still have the problem please.

I have tried leaving the printer off but it is still the same. I left it off for 15 minutes.

Can you use a different Toner Cartridge and tell me if it gives you the error with this please.

When you emptied it, did you wash it out and leave it to dry Clive?

All traces need to be removed so that nothing is on the sensor.

Can you confirm this please.

No just emptied. I will wash it out and wait for it to dry.

It can be a small speck on the sensor.

All seems to be working ok now.

Perfect, it was residue on the sensor causing this and it needed a good wash Clive. It will be ok now.
