Have a Brother MFC6910dw A3 Colour printer - has been ok

Have a Brother MFC6910dw A3 Colour printer - has been ok' but now prints the numbers 1212121212121212 all the way down an A4 page but not on a A3 printout - what is causing this - have tried printing in different application and reloading the printer software
on 2 PC we use - appreciate an urgent reply - Thanks

sorry from my enquiry the window running is 8.1 not windows XP have updated the firmware on the PC's in the same way ie link to download firmware udate and followed the Brothers instructions but still have the same fault ie *********** down the page - reply appreciated - Thanks

Sorry that the issue persists. Could you please let me know what type of documents you are trying to print (I.E PDF, Image, Word, Excel) and how the printer is connected? (WiFi, USB, Network Cable)?

Can you try attaching the printer directly to one of the computers via USB cable to see if the issue persists?
