Resolved Question:

Just bought Pixma MG3500. Very poor hazy photo prints from desktop print and from sd card. When I copy and paste the same photo into word 2010 the quality is good. What is the problem and can I fix it. Thanks.

Hello,
My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.
How are you printing the photos when the hazyness is visible?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Printing all on normal A4 paper

Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
You state that if you print "from desktop print" they are hazy; however, if you print from Word 2010, they are not.
Please, explain.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

If I open a word document and copy and paste the photo from either a desktop folder or from SD card the result is OK.

Thank you for the update.
May I start a remote screen sharing session with you so that I can better help you resolve this problem?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Not at the moment as I have to prepare work for school tomorrow. I am a teacher hence the urgency to get printer sorted.

Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
Thank you.
If I remote in, I can fix it in two, maybe 3 minutes.
How do you wish to continue?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Sorry. A little wary of remote access in present climate. What will you access?

Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
No worries.
I have remoted into computers a few hundred thousand times with no problems.
I would not be 'accessing' anything. I would be sharing your screen and the mouse.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

OK but nothing too technical. I teach English not computers!!!!
