Hello Russell I have a Canon MG5350 which has worked perfectly up to now. A couple of days ago I had to print 20 4 x 6 photos and in an effort to economize I used some Epson paper I had in my cupboard. The paper was from one of those early box radio type Epson photo printers that I had given away long ago. The first 12 photos printed perfectly but then started to print like an over exposed photo. Image still there but very light. I have run nozzle cleaning, head cleaning (several times) etc etc but the printer is still printing blanks. It goes through the whole process of printing but nothing gets transferred to the paper. Any suggestions? Many thanks Anne
Nice to meet you.
I had already cleaned the print cartridges and connection in the machine and turned off the machine. The only thing I hadn't done per your suggestion was turn the machine back on without the cartridges inserted and wait for the prompt.
I have no gone through the process again but this time loading cartridges only when prompted but unfortunately same result. Paper goes through, appears to be printing but only a blank page received.
Any other suggestions?
I am trying with plain paper. Haven't used the Epson since the day it started to go wrong.
ok Freddy. I will watch the video but have to go out now. Will get back to you later. Thanks
decided to delay departure to get this resolved but no luck. Removed the head and washed as indicated in idea but same outcome I'm afraid.
There is one additional difference that I didn't mention. I change my laptop last week. I think I have printed ok with it since replacement but can't recall exactly. The photos I printed were from stick and not from pc.
Sorry for delay but I had to leave. I tried printing from my ipad but same prob.
