have put in new inks HP. colour cartridge says missing or cannot be detected. It printed out test page rejected since then

Hi, My name is ***** ***** i will be assisting you

Michelle :

please take out the print cartridge

wait for the insert cartridge message to appear

unplug the power cord

clean the golden contacts of the cartridge and printhead with a cotton swab and little alcohol

wait for 2-3 minutes

plug the power cord back in

turn the unit on and reinsert the cartridges

check for functionality

did you remove the orange plastic protective tape before inserting the new ink

both new inks both click into place when I frist put them in they were acceptedand had aprint out

turn off printer and unplug power cord

after about a minute plug in power cord and turn on printer

now only insert the black ink

now try to send a test page print..please ensure that you have deleted all previous print jobs in print queue
