My MP560 will no longer scan, though it prints OK. Also, the on-line user manual is failing to display properly. Have I a software problem? I am running an iMac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

I'm sorry about the issue. Is there any error or message? Is the printer connected to the computer with a USB cable? Or is the printer wireless?

Are you using the MP Navigator application to scan? Can you try the Image Capture application to scan?

What I get is a message saying "cannot start MP Navigator" and asks me to check the USB connection, which I have done. But I have just tried Image Capture and that worked. Do I still have a problem?

Will be away from my computer for a little while.

Great. If you'd like to, you can do the following: If you have not done yet, please restart the computer and check. If needed, you can trash the MP Navigator application, then download and reinstall MP Navigator application at the website below:

Or you don't have to go through the trouble of doing that; you can just use Image Capture application to scan. As long as you can scan with the Image Capture application, then it is fine now.

For the manual issue, you can also trash the manual application/file(s), then download / reinstall it at
