I purchased a HP Officejet Pro 8620 All in one Printer 11th.

Resolved Question:

I purchased a HP Officejet Pro 8620 All in one Printer 11th. August 2014. from Amazon.
The first months everything was excellent.
Then when using the top one sheet copier fine black lines appeared on
on the copy.
This is not a major problem, just a nuisance.
Can you help?

Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
I want to warn you that it is possible you will need to replace a part in order to fix this.
There are a few different things that can cause this and a couple different parts so we would need to troubleshoot to find out for sure.
Is it happening in the same spot every time? Was the seller an independent seller using Amazon or was the seller Amazon itself? Was it new, refurbished or used when you bought it?

No, no problems with the glass or from my computer

Just the adf then? Open the scanner glass and there is a small piece of glass separate from the larger one do you see that?

It looks like we may be in different time zones please note I am in the USA. That small piece of glass is what is used to scan by the feeder clean that the best you can and test it again. I did not realize you were dealing with my problem from USA.

It counted for the time delay.

I tried to clean the glass as you suggested but it was a most difficult

thing to do.

I couldn't get my fingers enough in to make a difference.

Lets call it a day.
