i have had to upgrade my drivers ipf 6400 printer this

i have had to upgrade my drivers ipf 6400 printer this was because i am using a macbook pro with Yosemite on.
when i have tried to print i had the following
stopped-garod cl filter error: 3000 and i could not print .
any idea what to do about it ?

How is your Canon Image PROGRAF IPF6400 printer connected to your computer? directly, with a USB cable? or indirectly, through a network connection of some sort - wired or wireless ?

I am assuming that your computer runs MAC OS X 10.10...

OK, thanks information.

Try the following:

1. unplug the printer from the power, and also from the computer. Leave it that way duration of the following, unless it is required to be connected up or turned On again.

2. go to the Printers list, select the printer, and use the - button to remove it from the list.

3. restart the computer.

4. when it is restarted, go to

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/printers/large_format_printers/graphic_arts_and_photo_printers/imageprograf_ipf6400#DriversAndSoftware

and select
OS X Yosemite v10.10
in the 'Operating System:' control. Then click on the
Drivers
link to open the list there, and select, then download, the
imagePROGRAF Printer Driver Ver.4.10 OS X 10.10
which is a DMG file. When it is downloaded, double-click on it to start the install process.

That, hopefully, will cure the problem.
