As the first step, can you remove the power from the printer and wait 10 minutes so that the residue power can be drained.
Then power on the printer and check if you still have the problem.
Let me know the results please

i TRIED WHAT YOU SDAID BUT SAME PROBLEM STILL EXISTS

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
Thank you
Have you tried different CD's Paul?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

YES THEY ARE ALL THE SAME, i WAS USING THEM BEFORE THE PROBLEM AROSE

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
ok, the tray may be moved.
Slightly lift the rear of the tray as it is fed in. Does it then eject?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

WHEN i DO TRY AND PRINT THE TRAY IS TAKEN IN FULLY THEN BEFORE PRINTING BEGINS THE TRAY IS EJECTED HALF WAY THEN A COUPLE OF SECONDS LATER IT IS FULLY EJECTED, COULD IT BE BE THE MECHANISM BEING JAMMED

Expert:  Richard replied 2 years ago.
It is being jammed, I wanted to see if it was the tray Paul, but we ruled that out. It is internal that the jam is occuring.
Likely a gear wheel that has broken or is loose.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer s they can disassemble it and repair this (its a hardware fault). It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
