I have recently bought an Epson xp322 printer and set it up

using the disc supplied but... Show More
using the disc supplied but cannot get a Wi-Fi connection between laptop & printer,I have run a network connection check that tells me that the connection is working correctly but a router/access point channel conflict has been detected and I should improve my wireless network environment.
does anybody know what that means?

Yes, it means that your router is using a wireless channel that is encountering a lot of interference, so changing the channel will improve this.
If you tell me the make and model of your wireless router, I can tell you the procedure to do this, or I can also do these steps directly, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) . Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all.

thats no problem John, thats why I said it was optional and if not, tell me the make and model of your wireless router and I can give you the procedure to do this yourself.

Do the following please
Open a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, type http://192.168.1.1 into the Address bar and press Enter on the keyboard.
Enter the username and password ***** click OK.
Note: The default username and password ***** both admin (this is case-sensitive).
Select Wireless from the menu on the left.
Change the channel in the Wireless Channel drop-down list. I recommend using 11 or 6, try 11 first
Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
Then check the printer, if you get the complaint still, use 6.
If you have any problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

ok, now use a pin and hold the reset button in seconds, then release.
Then restart your computer and try to sign in with admin as the password.

sorry don't know what happened there,I was trying to explain that I am using talktalk followed by a number i.d number and admin password, I'm starting to think I must be doing something wrong

Can you please go to www.teamviewer.com
Click on Download in the top right.
Go down to "TeamViewer Quicksupport"
Click on Download and download and run the program.
It will give you an ID and a Password.
Please give me the ID (leave a space between each character eg: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9) and the password ***** your next message to me here.
Do not close the program, but leave it open.
I can then connect to your computer.

ok, but you just need to install the printer now John, and you dont get the Channel conflict message anymore (that you initially got).
You can take a break and do it later if you wish, there is no time limit and I am always here.
