I have just upgraded to Windows 8.1 and am trying to re-connect

Resolved Question:

I have just upgraded to Windows 8.1 and am trying to re-connect wi-fi to my Epson XP 212/213 printer which I bought last Summer.
Sadly my orange ink light will not go off and it seems to me that this is preventing the re-connection of my computer wirelessly to the printer using the software disc. Consequently, no manual either.
Can you please tell me how to switch off the orange light. My ink cartridges are Epson , installed correctly and are all full of ink.
I appreciate your help.

The flashing is not due to the computer, but the printer itself.
First, try different cartridges to ensure one of these is not faulty.
Does this stop it blinking orange?

Richard, if I try four more cartridges, that means I am going to lose all the ones disengaged through the ink hole being already opened. How can I restore or save the opened cartridges for future use?

Cover them in plastic (Cling Wrap so the air does not get to them via the hole)
