I have an epson sx200 printer/scanner.Have replaced the ink catridges which are originals have done everything in the manual and still the light for the ink is coming on and wont print

If you put the old cartridges back into the printer, does it give the same issue?

I want to remove residue power as the cause of this.
Can you remove the power cable and wait 10 minutes.
Then plug the power cable in, and tell me if it still gives the same message please.

have tried that too infact left it unplugged all night

Its the print head that's the problem then.
You said you cleaned it, how did you do this?

Then the print head has failed sorry Sandra and will need to be replaced.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the repair will be done at no cost to you.
