click start..devices and printers
right click on printer icon..click on printer preferences
click on print test page
let me know if test page too has the same print quality problem as other printouts
Regrettably I am unable to proceed further at this time. Having started the printer successfully I am now lost, I have to admit that I do not see a Printer Icon & am unable therefore to proceed further. Any other advice would be gratefully received, failing that I will understand if this session is ended without further progress. Thank you.
there are 2 possibilities
either its the printer software or the printer itself
we need to first diagnose which one is causing this issue

you need to click on the file and open\run it
I am not aware since I currently have only this "chat display" to view.
ok no problems..let me give you an alternate remote tool
please open the website www.teamviewer.com
in the page that opens click on start full version
it will download a file teamviewer exe
download and open\run that file
once its installed, it will open a teamviewer window
let me know the id and password ***** on the left side of the window
