MY PRINTER WHICH IS AN HP 1000 WAS WORKING PERFECTLY TODAY, NOW IT IS SAYING PRINTER OFFLINE, I HAVE TRIED SYSTEM RESTORE BUT NO EFFECT, DONE A MALAWARE BYTES SCAN BUT STILL NO LUCK ANY IDEAS

Thank you. Please try the following fix:

 

  1. Disconnect the printer's USB cable from the computer for now.
  2. Click on Start, then click on Devices and Printers.
  3. Right-click on the HP printer there, and remove it for now.
  4. Make sure printer is powered on.
  5. Re-connect the printer's USB cable from the printer the computer.
    (Make sure the USB cable is securely pushed all the way in both the printer and computer.)
  6. Wait a bit, and the printer should automatically be reinstalled.
  7. Check printing.
