Hello Jason,

My printer is connected to my system by a cable. I have few i.t. skills and I hope that this answer suffices.

Hi Ian,
Thank you for the update.
You should be able to make a scan using the Windows Fax & Scan utility.
- Click the Start button
- In the search box, type: Windows Fax and Scan
- Click the item "Windows Fax and Scan"
- In the window that comes up, click "New Scan".
From there, you should be all set.
I look forward to hearing your feedback concerning whether or not that is working.
I hope to hear back that the scans are being made.
I will be standing by,
Jason

Hello Ian,
On the top left of the window, there is a button that says, "New Scan". That is the button you are in search of.
